The full business is probably to long for a FAQ for beginners.
It probably needs to be condensed, at least for the general FAQ.

Though it also could be a seperate FAQ all by itself.

Tha main points are that the rules by which biologists name
animals say the first name applied to an organism is the "real"
one, and that two different skeletons were originally found and
named as different anuimals, Apatosaurus and Brontosaurus, but
were later determined to be so similar they ought to be treated
as one animal.  Since the first named skeleton was the one named
Apatosaurus, that makes that the correct name by the rules.
