With many of the new CD ROMS this is often the case. I find that many of
the hard copy books on dinosaurs are much better than the CD ROMs I have
seen including the Dinosaur Encylopedia I purchased. I had hoped for a more
exciting interactive media for my kids use but they tried the ROM once and
have largely ignored it since. I guess that is their commentary on it.

I could not help but respond to your post. I hope that was not my own
space. I was gone for 2.5 weeks on vacation but wanted to have the mail
from the list when I got back I found roughly 150 plus messages from the
list, but had no indication my mailbox "filled up". However with 100 plus
users on our Sun system filling of disks via mailbox cluttering is becoming
a problem so I too have to be wary of leaving too much on the disk that
houses my mailbox.

Anyway would you rather we "unsubscribe" while gone? I will be gone again
from July 28 through August 16 on a cooperative dig with the South Dakota
School of Mines and Tech, but would hope I can keep receiving from this
list while gone. It does take several hours to wade through it once I get
back of course :-)
