Re: Polacanthus (Again)



Busy fellow, all right. It seems there were actually two contemporary William
Foxes, both fossil collectors, both living on the Isle of Wight. One was the
Reverend William Fox of Brixton (Brighstone), the other was William Darwin
Fox of Binstead. Both contributed fossils to the British Museum. The former
died in 1881, the latter in 1882. How very peculiar!
