Re: raven

A friend of mine who worked at the Academy of Sciences in Philly told me an
interesting story about crows' keen intelligence. She said that a pair of
these birds were obtained by the museum and housed in a cage alongside
numerous other cages of various other birds in the museum's basement. One
morning soon after they had arrived the crows were discovered loose after
evidently unlocking and opening their own cages. Clever birds you might
think, but soon afterwards they were not only discovered free again, but they
had unlocked and opened the cages to all the other birds and released them as
well.

Not to anthropomorphize too much, but it makes you wonder what's going on
inside their heads.
