water temperatures

Loch Ness is much colder than the coastal waters of British
Columbia, deeper too - about 700 feet.
Antarctic coastal waters are estimated to have been about
18 C during the late Maastrichian, from oxygen-18 data, so
the temperatures were p erhaps higher than the north slope
of Alaska, where dinos are well-known.
