Re[2]: More questions about birdies....



     I think the general response of most people on the list when I asked 
     this earlier was that Archie had wings rather like a modern pigeon, 
     making him a rather indifferent flier over any great haul.  He was 
     built for spot-to-spot flight, rather than acrobatics or distance.
