Re: re:blood flow in sauropods

The point is, that necks many meters tall involve extreme blood pressure
problems not observed in any bird neck. In order to evolve the massive and
very energy expensive cardiac system of tall sauropods, there had to be a
strong selective advantage to evolve long necks, one in which the energy
gained more than made up for the energy expended pumping blood so far high,
as well as ggrowing and operating them. The only viable answer is that
sauropods evolved super height in order to reach high food resources
otherwise not available. Spotting predators etc were nice side benefits.
