>Can someone please tell me the current status (if any) of pseudosuchians?
There is a clade of archosaurs which is the sister taxon to the Pterosauria -
Dinosauromorpha clade Ornithodira. This clade contains modern crocodilians
and their ancestors, rauisuchid and poposaurid predators, armored aetosaurs,
croc-mimic parasuchians (phytosaurs), and probably ornithosuchids. This
clade has been called "Pseudosuchia" by Gauthier, "Crurotarsi" by Sereno and
Arcucci, and Olshevsky has argued on the net that the old term "Thecodontia"
would be a reasonable name for this clade.
