One of the crucial questions that seems to have been overlookied in sharks
vs. elephants is how many sharks (even great whites) does it take to eat an
elephant? Did the elephants swim alone or in groups? Great Whites tend to be
solitary pelagic creatures, while the reef type sharks tend to be more
communal in nature.

I'm reminded of the stategist who is discussing the two guys running from the
bear and askes the question whether either one of them can out run the bear.
I is then pointed out to him that the real question is can one of the guys
out run the other.  

Moral: The slow elephant is shark bait.
