The Cretaceous was 80 million years or so long.  An average over this
interval is about as useful as an average Cenozoic temperature.

What I believe you are getting at is "what is the estimated average
temperature of the environment associated with the major fossil finds (i.e.,
Chinle, Morrison, Tendaguru, Wealden, et.c)?"
