another request on www sites
I am also teaching an earth history class (typical 1st/2nd year
class in north am strat and global strat/fossils). does anyone know of
any web sites that might address:
a. particular time periods (like the Quaternary listserver - that one i know
cause i helped to start it). is there a cambrian listserver or website?
b. particular geological areas, like the appalachian orogeny, or the
c. particular geological environments (Like the paleolimnology listserver)
these are all elements of their curriculum and they might want to browse
what is there.
any help would be appreciated. i lack a web browser to go looking myself.
if anyone is interested, i will post any info back to the net.
