cretaceous landscapes

Does anyone know of a good "How to draw backgrounds for your
dinosaur pictures" book? The Cret. flora sections in books I've
looked at consist pretty much of technical botanical descriptions with
illustrations consisting almost entirely of individual leaves in
fossil matrix. If they contained any information regarding population
groups, size of the plants, or educated guesses about growth habits,
it wasn't going to be easy to extract it. Are there any
non-specialist books out there which could provide a more digestible
vision of the flora? (if you will pardon the pun)

Yours hopefully,
Pat
