Best guess is Early to mid-Cretaceous

It is supposed to be a titanosaurid, but does not belong to the genus
_Titanosaurus_. New material has been found by the French. Stay tuned.

Both seem to be ankylosaurs of some kind, especially _Lametasaurus_. But I
would classify them only as Ankylosauria _incertae sedis_ because the known
material is so poor. Being Gondwana ankylosaurs may make them most closely
related to the Australian _Minmi_, which most definitely is neither an
ankylosaurid, polacanthid, nor nodosaurid.
