If a pack of D.'s were pulling down one T., it could have fallen on a D.,
taking the D. with it.  Predation is not exactly a safe business, just
because one has better equipment does not negate risk totally, nor
guarantee success.
If the T. was in the process of being pulled down, unable to get free, and
crushed a D. underneath it when it fell,  both might well (almost
certainly) have not gotten a chance to get back up again.
