Another News Flash The Times

This one was seen in The Times (London edition) this week.

Researchers from the University of California in Los Angeles clain to have
found fragments of the asteroid that annihilated the dinosaurs. In clay
taken from the bed of the Pacific they discovered a tiny pebble that
contains chromium, iron and iridium in the quantities found in meteorites.
The pebble was found in a layer dating to 65 million years ago, when the
dinosaurs disappeared.

Are there any "researchers from the University of California" or others,
who would send me some more info on this one...?
