Has anyone considered that large dinosaurs might have had skin with
reflective properties? (At the very least, perhaps their skin was bright
white.) It would have obvious thermal advantages during the day when shade
would probably be hard to find. I realize that due to their large masses,
solar heating might not be hugely significant, but these animals would need
to find every way possible to avoid heat absorption.
