It's plausible. The Arabian oryx is largely white, unlike its closest relatives,
and this seems to be an adaptation for desert dwelling (as are its spreading
hooves and smaller body size). Maybe desert adapted dinosaurs were white too.

It's a possibility, not a verifiable hypothesis.
