K-T boundary dinosaur survival

Another request for more dinosaur information from a museum educator:
In the book "101 Questions About Dinosaurs," Phil Currie and his
co-author claim "evidence from China, Montana, New Mexico, South America
and a few other places suggests that some dinosaurs may have survived the
Cretaceous-Tertiary extinction event."
Whoa, news to me! Can anyone point me to references? Thanks!!
