"Andy", the Andean raptor

*** Flesh-eating dinosaur dug up in Patagonia

Argentine scientists in Patagonia have unearthed the bones of a
90-million-year-old dinosaur related to the fearsome velociraptor
depicted in the film "Jurassic Park," Clarin newspaper reported
Wednesday. "We know it was a medium-sized, carnivorous animal, about
eight feet long from its head to the tip of its tail, and that it
weighed about 66 pounds," paleontologist Fernando Novas said. The
araucanoraptor argentinus was a distant relative both of the
fleet-footed velociraptor and of the earliest ancestors of modern
birds. See http://www.merc.com/stories/cgi/story.cgi?id=4082132-8ea
