John Ostrom co-authored a paper with Rolf Johnson of the Milwaukee Public
Museum on the stance of the forelimbs of Torosaurus at SVP at K.U. a couple
of years ago. The paper was based on Milwaukee's mount. The position of the
forelimbs is somewhat elbows out, much like the Triceratops mount in St. Paul
at the Science Museum of Minnesota, assembled by Bruce Erickson back in the
sixties. Rolf' brought a cast of the forelimb suspended by pulleys and ropes
and a good time was had by all manipulating the arm into various poses.
