Trouble is, stegos seem to have become extinct by the end of the Early
Cretaceous, with not a single stego fossil known from the Late Cretaceous.
Putative Late-K survivors from India (_Dravidosaurus_) are now known to be
based on misidentified plesiosaur bones.
