I do not believe the photos in the DISCOVER article are Titanis. If any are,
they are not labeled. I'm not up on the current taxonomy, but I think the
skeleton is Phorusrhacos. If you have Carroll, 1988, see Fig.16-27. The
uncinate processes are the dorsally directed "hooks" on the middle of the
ribs.
