Dinosaur TV Week

Here are some highlights of U.S. national programming concerning
dinosaurs, all times Eastern:

Monday, November 24

PBS (check local listings)
Reading Rainbow
"Digging up Dinosaurs"
Comic tells dinosaur riddles. Presumably they'll cover several books
for children about dinosaurs as well.

Tuesday, November 25

Sci-Fi Channel, 7:00am
Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea
"Turn Back the Clock" -- Yet another prehistoric world discovered below
Antartica, this time in an episode of a 60's TV show.

Thursday, November 27

NBC-TV, 8:30pm
Jurassic Park
Small independent film about very, very large turkey ancestors recreated
from some DNA hanging around inside some old bugs. Yeah, right. Love
it, hate it, or love it AND hate it just to please everybody (or
nobody).

Friday, November 28

Disney Channel, 5:00 pm
"Dinosaurs"
Film clips and interviews with paleontologists separate myth from fact.

Sunday, November 30

Discovery Channel, 9:30am
Bonehead Detectives of the Paleoworld
"Flying fossils"
Dinosaur origin of birds debated.

Happy Late Descendant of Dinosaur Day,
Larry
