The figures used by Ruben et al. have so many anatomical errors and are
misguided enough as to use a skull of Dromaeosaurus (in their paper) to
illustrate the lack of turbinates... when everybody knows that a good part
(including the top) of the skull is missing and what they got is a heavily
reconstructed animal in ink and paper!
Just as they used an erroneous Archaeopteryx pelvis to illustrate hepatic
pump systems or made assumptions on phantom Sinosauropteryx body cavities
and supposed internal organs.
As Ralph Miller noted, Kiwis have very narrow nasal passages and still have
GSP has sufficiently demonstrated that Ruben et al. are in shambles.
