For all of you interested in real dinosaur digging in California, the
Museum of Natural History of the Sierra College is doing a 'Dinosaur
Day' event on May 10, at their facilities in Rocklin,
CA. Learn all about California dinosaurs. Meet the paleontologists that
are changing the perception of dinosaur existence in California. Yes,
many dinosaurs fossils have been found in
our Golden State. Would you like to help the pros as a volunteer amateur
paleontologist? This is your opportunity to meet and help them!
The Sierra College Natural History Museum is having 'Dinosaur Day' on
Sunday, May 10. A professional preparator will be showing how to extract
a fossil from its plaster jacket. The
campus paleontologists will be Frank DeCourten, whose book, 'Dinosaurs
of Utah', will be out soon. Also will be present Dick Hilton, who found
the first northern California dinosaur
bones, and Pat Embree from UC Davis. Don't miss this opportunity to meet
and talk with the pros!

May 10 and all the dinosaur finds in
California. Also, you can learn about the historic find of the first
meat eating dinosaur - theropod, like TREX - in our beautiful state.
Don't miss it!
