Re: T-rex: Back to the Cretaceous

Ed, are the people at IMAX concerned at all about the "failure" of the
1998 movie GODZILLA?  The reason that its profits were lower than
expected, most post-mortem studies indicate, is NOT that the plot was
stupid, or that the movie wasn't "true" to the original Godzilla, but
that the CGI looked like CGI.  

Audiences at times laughed out loud when asked to accept what was
on-screen as reality.

The illustrations of the T. REX dinosaurs look very nice but they seem
a far cry from modern audiences' extremely heightened expectations.
