Actually, Jim Danforth designed and sculpted the dinosaurs, and laid the
groundwork for the film's visual effects before his untimely departure from the
production. David Allen, Randall William Cook, Peter Kleinow, Spencer Gill,
Dave
Stipes, Laine Liska, Ernie Farino, and James Aupperle were also involved in the
effects work.

One amusing point about this picture is that Danforth designed the
chameleon-like
animal on the basis of Carl Gottlieb's script calling for a "horned lizard."
Gottlieb had intended a _Triceratops_ for the film, but didn't know what it was
called! But Gottlieb liked the horned lizard design and went along with it in
spite of his original intentions.
