When killing humans, other monkeys and at least some other animals,
leopards bite straight through the back of the skull.  This doesn't
give the victim a chance to fight back, and poke the leopard's eyes
out.  IIRC, the tooth marks match this killing bite.


P.S. Reading the AP article, I have to feel sorry for Parrish.
