remember news bites in all the journals, as well as Web-links, but has there
been a detailed report published yet? I'm on another mailing list and I have
a geology professor asking for details, so presumably he's searched his
usual databases. Any details would be handy, including URLs to old
"Dinolist" posts with good links.
No hard to get publications on it: just the one reference in Science so far:
Forster, C.A. et al. 1998. The theropod ancestry of birds: new evidence
from the Late Cretaceous of Madagascar. Science 279: 1915-1919.
That's it. Don't know if/when more detailed descriptions will be done.
_Rahonavis_ is working its way into newer phylogenetic analyses, but I don't
know that any of them are out yet.
Hope this helps.
