Dinosaur TV Week

Here are some highlights of U.S. national television programming
concerning dinosaurs, other prehistoric animals and evolution, from
high art to low trash and back again, all times Eastern (check local
listings to confirm):

Tuesday, January 12

NOVA, 8:00pm
The Beast of Loch Ness
Hopefully there will be some intelligent discussion of extinct marine
reptiles.

Thursday, January 14

SCIFI Channel, 2:00pm
Sightings
Includes segment on evolution and aliens. Might be good for a grin.

Nickelodeon, 8:30pm
Cousin Skeeter
"Tyrannosaurus Wrecked"
Bobby slips on a sandwich and knocks down a tyrannosaur skeleton.
Bobby is apparently a big boy.

Saturday, January 16

TBS, 12:40am
Caveman
Ringo and Barbara. Pretty entertaining.

Discovery Channel, 4:00pm
Nature's Death Traps
Just send them your letter without proper citation form. No,
seriously, this is about fossils and taxonomy, kind of.
