Peabody Museums

OK, Just to set the record straight, there are a number of Peabody Museums
out there in museumland. George Peabody, O.C. Marsh's uncle, was a 1st-rate
philanthropist and indeed donated the funds to establish both the Peabody
Museum of Natural History at Yale University and the Peabody Museum of
Archaeology and Ethnology at Harvard, not to mention the Peabody Museum at
Salem, Mass. There are also numerous Peabody Libraries and Institutes both
here and abroad. To top all that off he donated vast sums to house the poor
of London.

Jacques Gauthier is at the Peabody Museum at Yale University. The natural
history museum at Harvard is the Museum of Comparative Zoology.
