Archaeopteryx had long mobile posterior ribs like other avetheropods, a long
(only partly ossified) hinged sternum, and pneumatic dorsals, so it should
have had a fairly well developed air-sac complex, albeit not as well developed
as in dromaeosaurs or ratites.
