When I last investigated a few years back, the Mesozoic paleogeography of
the Caribbean and Central America was not well understood. There are too
many little pieces, many of them not well characterized (notably Cuba), and
the uncertainties of most reconstruction techniques are too large to
resolve questions of what connected to what.
If you want a global-scale view of paleogeography, try the Paleomap site
developed by Christopher Scotese (http://www.scotese.com).
