Dinosaur Tracks Show Similarity to Bird Movements
LONDON -- Scientists, using computers to reconstruct the movements of a
210 million-year-old dinosaur, say it walked much like a modern bird.
Their three-dimensional graphics are based on footprints left in the now
barren fields of Greenland by theropods, which grew up to 23 feet long.
They show similarities to birds in spite of anatomical changes like the
position of the big toe.
