Dinosaur TV Week



Here are some highlights of U.S. national programming
concerning dinosaurs (entinct and extant), other
prehistoric animals and evolution, from high art to
low trash and (hopefully) back again, all times
eastern (check local listings to confirm):

Tuesday, November 9

TLC, 9:00pm (rebroadcast midnight)
Intimate Universe: the Human Body
"Life Story"
Human evolution.

Wednesday, November 10

PBS, 8:00pm (local time and channel may vary)
Life Beyond Earth
"Are We Alone?  Is Anybody Listening?"
Looks at possibility of life on other planets,
including, apparently, a review of evolution on Earth.

Thursday, November 11

Discovery Channel, 9:00am
Assignment Discovery
"Ultimate Guide: Birds of Prey"
The real raptors are dinosaurs too.

Saturday, November 13

Discovery Channel, 9:00pm (rebroadcast 1:00am)
When Pigs Ruled the World
Lystrosaurs.

Sunday, November 14

CNBC, 8:00pm (rebroadcast 11:00pm)
National Geographic Explorer
"Dinosaurs Take Wing; Dinosaur Fever II; Colossal
Fossil"
A focus on dinosaurs on this Explorer.
