Afrovenator pronunciation



Latin venator had a long "e" and a long "a." Since the 
main accent according to classical rules goes on the next-
to-last syllable if that syllable has a long vowel, the 
traditional English method for pronouncing Latin gives vee-
NAY-tor, thus
AF-ro-vee-NAY-tor.
