Re: BBC's WALKING WITH DINOSAURS Website
In a message dated 9/14/99 6:43:39 PM Pacific Daylight Time,
Uh oh! checked it out a bit, and according to the BBC
a certain large coelurosaur was the largest theropod!
Gadzooks! Is this just a website thing or does the
show also misrepresent the relative sizes of the
currently known theropod specimens?
Could this be T. rex? According to most of the new classifications of
theropods, T. rex IS a coelurosaur. Ask T. Holtz! Unless this is sarcastic
humor and then I withdraw my lame comments!
P.S. to Dan Varner: Of course size matters! That's why sauropods are the
best dinosaurs around -- they beat theropods for body length and body size
any day. =)
