The reference to a Sheehan paper on dinosaur extinction "published in the
journal Geology" is either from one of his older papers or a forthcoming
one.  There is a paper on extinctions in the latest (August) issue, but it
only addresses marine extinctions, and highlights the Late Devonian and Late
Ordovician events.
