Dinosaurs (like most extant reptiles) have mesotarsal ankles. This is used as
one of the defining criteria of ornithodira, though you probably already knew
that.

If you meant which group did dinosaurs spawn from then the general consensus
seems to be crocodile reversed, though I'm not sure why.
