Dinosaur TV Week

Here are some highlights of U.S. national television
programming concerning dinosaurs, other prehistoric
animals, and the scientific discussion of evolution,
from high art to low trash and (theoretically) back
again, all times Eastern (check local listings to
confirm):

Saturday, September 2

Discovery Channel, 9:00pm (rebroadcast 1:00am)
Sci-Trek
"Dinosaur Attack"
Do fossil footprints point to a prey event?

Sunday, July 30

Discovery Channel, 9:30am
Bonehead Detectives of the Paleoworld
Kid's show about paleontology. This episode --
"The Dino Clones." Crichtonization.

SciFi Channel, 11:00pm
The Creature from the Black Lagoon
Naughty gilled dinoman bothers marine biologists.

E!, Midnight
Wild On ...
Loathsome vapid twenty-something cubicle drones
descend upon Acapulco and ... whoops, sorry -- not
topical.
