unless i've misunderstood your statements( it's likely to be so, since i'm not english), i think there's a contraddiction between the first  and the second .....well, it wouldn't be a contraddiction if you were saying that you want to confuse others' ideas, but i don't think this is your case....

saying this i didn't want to say that we're not considering birds dinos; it would be correct to call them that way, but  i dont think it would a better name than "birds".....neither worse nor better, simply a different one.
