CNN: Auction of winged reptile fossil stirs debate
-there is also a photo of the fossil. It looks like Lonquisaama wanted
to look.

<excerpts>
Known as the Icarosaurus siefkeri, the reptile resembles a huge
dragonfly that's about 7 inches (18 centimeters) long and about 10
inches (25 centimeters) from wingtip to wingtip. Its fossilized imprint
could fetch $300,000.

The creature lived some 50 million years before dinosaurs and
Archaeopteryx -- evolution's first true bird.
