No obvious intermediate form has been found yet, although many
scientists believe that the ancestors of bats were living and perhaps
flying 70 million years ago in the last age of the dinosaurs, when our
primate ancestors were small and stupid.

You gotta love these popularizations. Well, at least the dinosaurs didn't get put down this time. T. rex may have had a brain the size of a quart of milk, but at least it wasn't small and stupid. =) Take that, furballs!
