But Sauropsida and Reptilia are different clades.

Sauropsida = (Reptilia > Mammalia)
Reptilia = (Lepidosauria + Archosauria + Chelonia)

True, there isn't much difference. The only non-reptilian Sauropsida I
know of are the Mesosauridae.
