The media does it again...

I thought the following clipping from a Queensland newspaper would be
good for a laugh.

TINNIE MINING IN WEST

Beer made from water that ran of dinosaurs' backs?

That's the ambitious idea of a go-getting council in western Queensland
that wants to ply the world with Fossil Ale made from artesian water
millions of years old.

The man behind the plan is Brian Arnold, entrepreneurial and marketing
manager for Booringa Shire Council, centred on Mitchell, 92km west of
Roma.

"This Great Artesian Basin supply is drawn from 4000 feet (1220 m)
underground," he said.

"The origin of the water is supposed to be from the rainforests of Papua
New Guinea some 2 million years ago ? the Jurassic period. When that
water seeped into the ground, some would have dropped off the backs of
dinosaurs."

Tests by master brewer Chuck Hahn indicate it will make an outstanding
beer.

The council will truck 20,000 litres to Sydney for the first brewing.
