Norell and Makovicky assign IGM 100/985 to Velociraptor mongoliensis in
"Important features of the dromaeosaurid skeleton II: information from
newly collected specimens of Velociraptor mongoliensis" (This is a 1999
American Museum Novitates, pag. 3) on the bases of corresponding elements
present in specimen described in this paper (IGM 100/986, 100/976 and
100/982), that include cranial material corresponding to the holotype of
"Volunteer of Paleontological Group of Monfalcone"
