Question: When does the Greek Eu mean "True" and when does it mean "Well?"

Eusuchians are not: "well crocodiles" and _Eustreptospondylus_ is not thought
of as "true reversed vertebrae."

Does it just depend on which version makes more sense in the name or is there
some Greek grammer I'm missing?
