Re: Glen Rose Paluxy tracks

Oh, my. There is a fair amount of information about this. For
openers, to get you into the literature, check out the following (and
     references therein):

     1) papers by Jeff Pittman, Glen Kuban, and J.O. Farlow in D.D.
Gillette and M.G. Lockley (eds.), 1989, _Dinosaur Tracks and Traces_,
     Cambridge University Press

     2) J.M. Hawthorne, 1990, Dinosaur Track-bearing Strata of the Lampasas
Cut Plain and Edwards Plateau, Texas. Baylor Geological Studies,
     Bulletin 89

     3) B.F. Perkins, W. Langston, Jr., R.T. Clarke, R.J. Hastings, J.G.
Pittman, and G. Bergan, 1987, Field Trip Guide, Lower Cretaceous
Shallow Marine Environments in the Glen Rose Formation: Dinosaur
Tracks and Plants, 1987 Southwest Section, American Association of
     Petroleum Geologists.

     4) J.O. Farlow, 1987. Lower Cretaceous Dinosaur Tracks, Paluxy River
Valley, Texas. Field Trip Guide, South Central Section, Geological
     Society of America, Baylor University.

     5) J.O. Farlow, 1993. The Dinosaurs of Dinosaur Valley State Park.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Press, Austin.

Rumor has it that Farlow will have more to say about this stuff, if he
can ever finish up his *&^%$#@ actuopaleontological work with emus and
     alligators....

Dear all:

Does anyone have any information about the Glen Rose Paluxy sauropod and
theropod track site? Can anyone direct me to any sources, either online or in
books, about this?

I'd like more specifically to learn about the ecosystem the trackway was set in.
So any pollen studies, etc. would be helpful.

Thanks, Demetrios Vital
