The Kellner and Campos 2000 paper was good reading. They showed a fossil
feather with a banding pattern. This suggests that even in the Mesozoic we
might have had a bright display of colors. But are any other colored
Mesozoic feather specimens known? Do the new Asian finds have any traces of
color on them?
