I would like to know your expert opnion on the book Ancient Marine Reptiles
by Jack M. Callaway.

The book is a collection of papers rather than what you would call a
standard text. Turtles, ichthyosaurs and some plesiosaurs are well-covered.
Aside from Bill Stout's cover painting and some Victorian engravings, there's
no life-restoration art. It's a valuable collection, but at that price you
may want to look at it first to make sure it suits your needs. Barnes and
Noble usually has a copy. DV
